Every Beocca bag begins not in a factory, but in the hands of a craftsman or craftswoman. Our bags are handmade in a small workshop in India. No mass production, no rushing. Every step is carried out with care.
Vegetable tanning uses plant-based tanning agents, such as tannins. The term does not mean that the entire production process is chemical-free, nor does it establish the overall environmental impact.
When the leather arrives at the workshop, it is carefully cut and worked by hand. No machine takes over the work. Only knives, needles, thread, and craftsmanship. Some bags take days to make. You can see that in the details.
Every stitch, every piece of lining, and every buckle is chosen deliberately. Not to follow a trend, but to create something that will last for years. A bag you do not discard after one season, but that goes with you from work to the weekend and back again.
