Ordering & payment
Choose the bag or accessory you want, add it to your cart and go through the checkout process. You'll immediately receive a confirmation email with the details of your order.
We accept iDEAL, Bancontact, credit card (Visa, Mastercard, American Express), PayPal, Apple Pay and Klarna (pay later or in 3 instalments).
Order before 17:00 and your package goes out the same business day. We can sometimes still make changes if you email us straight away at info@beocca.com, the sooner, the better.
Yes, you'll automatically receive a digital invoice in your confirmation email. Need a customised invoice (for example for a business purchase)? Email us at info@beocca.com.
Yes, via Klarna you can pay in 3 interest-free instalments, or defer payment for 30 days. You make the choice at checkout.
Shipping & delivery
Shipping is always free, to the Netherlands and Belgium. For other EU countries, rates apply which you'll see at checkout.
Order before 17:00 on a business day and we'll ship your package that same day. Orders after 17:00 or at the weekend go out the next business day.
In the Netherlands your bag is usually with you the next business day. For Belgium, allow 1–2 business days, for the rest of the EU 3–5 business days.
Once your order is on its way, we'll email you a track & trace link from PostNL. With it you can see live where your package is.
At the moment we only ship within the EU. Working on an international move or want a bag sent to a different address? Get in touch, we're happy to help.

Product & material
Vegetable-tanned leather is treated with natural tannins from tree bark, leaves and plants, no chrome or synthetic chemicals. The process takes longer, but produces a sturdier, more characterful and more durable material that grows more beautiful over the years.
Because our leather isn't finished with a chemical coating, every piece reacts differently to light and use. Small colour differences, light scratches or texture variations aren't a defect, they make your bag unique.
Patina is the natural sheen and deepening of colour that vegetable-tanned leather develops through use, touch and sunlight. The more you wear your bag, the warmer and richer the colour becomes. That's exactly why this leather only grows more beautiful over time.
Keep it dry, occasionally use a leather grease or balm, and avoid prolonged direct sunlight. We have a full care guide on the Leather Care page, there you can read exactly what to do about stains, water or scratches.
Vegetable-tanned leather is naturally not waterproof. A few raindrops are no problem, but in a heavy shower you'd best shelter the bag. Treat your bag once a season with a leather balm for extra protection.
Our bags are handmade in small, fair workshops in Kolkata, India. Our craftspeople combine generations-old craftsmanship with modern designs, no mass production, but fair wages and attention to detail.
Returns & exchanges
Send us an email at info@beocca.com with your name, address and order number. We'll send you a return label that you can stick over the existing address on the box. Drop the package off at a PostNL point and once we receive the return, we'll refund the amount.
You have 30 days after receipt to return your order free of charge — even without a reason. We only ask that you return it unused and with the original labels.
Returns within the Netherlands are free. For Belgium and other EU countries, shipping costs may apply, these are clearly stated on the return label.
We use separate orders to keep things clear: send back the bag you have and place a new order for the bag you'd prefer. That way nothing gets mixed up and you'll have your new bag quickly.
Once we receive and check your return (usually within 1–2 business days), we'll refund the amount to the account you paid with. Allow 3–5 business days before it's in your account.
Warranty & repair
All Beocca bags are covered by the statutory 2-year warranty. Our bags are made to last much longer, a bag for life, provided you treat it well.
Email us at info@beocca.com with your order number and a few clear photos of the problem. Based on that, we'll see whether we can send parts or replace the bag.
No, unfortunately we don't repair bags.
Untreated leather has its own character. Small scars, colour differences or texture variations are natural features, not defects. Find it really too characterful? Return the bag within 30 days, no problem.
Our bags are made for daily use and can take a knock. Damage from obvious misuse (for example sharp objects, chemicals or accidents) isn't covered by warranty, but we'll always help you with advice and any repair.
Account & privacy
No, you can also order as a guest. An account does make it easier to track your orders, start returns and check out faster on a next purchase.
Log in to your account and go to "My details". There you can change your address, email address and password.
We use your data solely to process your order and keep you informed. We don't sell or share your data with third parties. Read our privacy policy for the details.
