Use of AI and automated tools
Beocca may use AI-supported software and other automated tools to improve customer service, communication, content, fraud and security checks, and the general operation of the webshop. If we use external suppliers for such tools, they process data solely on Beocca's instructions and only for the purposes for which we use these tools. Where necessary, we conclude data processing agreements with these parties or make other appropriate arrangements regarding security, confidentiality and data protection.
When personal data is processed via a service used outside the European Economic Area (EEA), we ensure appropriate safeguards, such as standard contractual clauses approved by the European Commission or other legally permitted protective measures.
Insofar as we use AI or automated tools in contact with customers, we ensure appropriate transparency about the nature of that use where it is relevant to the interaction. Beocca does not make decisions based solely on automated processing that have legal effects for you or otherwise significantly affect you, without human intervention.
